Le Châ

Lutèce Lockness

Creator of Le Châ, a chimera from the margins, Lutèce Lockness invents worlds where dream-like imagery and satire intertwine, inviting audiences to embrace the bizarre, the strange and the intimate.

With her debut album Le Châ, Lutèce creates powerful, incantatory soundscapes. Her compositions blend psychedelic sonorities, medieval timbres, soaring drones, bouzouki improvisations and digital textures, nourished by collaborations with Christoph Fink, Maxime Denuc and Jean Rondeau.

Inspired by David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch and Hayao Miyazaki, her practice sculpts sonic matter like exquisite corpses. Across disciplines, Lutèce Lockness explores new territories, with projects such as the collective book Bande organisée (Seuil), born from the journey of a stone book carried across France during lockdown, and within the feminist punk band Forsissies.

On stage, she has opened for Bonnie Banane at the Olympia and for Flavien Berger at Le Lieu Unique in Nantes, and is also preparing the opening of Kanal Pompidou in Brussels — continuing a path where music, performance and visual experimentation converge to create spaces of freedom.
